One the best new blogs out there is Pizza Quest with Peter Reinhart. Peter is the author of The Bread Baker's Apprentice, which is the book to begin with if you're interested in learning how to bake your own bread. And if you watch a couple of the video's on the site, you'll realize that Peter loves pizza. It's both an intellectual passion and a passion of the heart. He talks about proper temperature, -00- flours, ingredients, innovations, and experimentation, but his eyes also light up when he watches a well-made pizza pulled from a wood-fired oven.
If you read this blog regularly who may never order another Domino's/Papa Johns/Pizza Hut/etc. ever again. However, you may begin to feel the desire to try your hand at making your own pizza. I have been wanting to try the S'more dessert pizza since I watched it made on the site.
